Math Assessment Results
On Tuesday, August 28, the Maryland State Department of Education (MDSE) released the results from the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) for 2023-2024 school year.
The overall proficiency rate for elementary, middle and high school students in Prince George's County was 10.85% compared to the statewide average of 24.1%
Metropolitan Futbol Club Math Proficiency rate which consisted of 53 students, 26 students in elementary and 27 students in middle school was 45.3%.

Winter Math Assessment Program
Purpose:
Help improve test scores on the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) which will be administrated during the Spring of 2025. The MCAP testing window will open on Monday, April 7 2025.
Target
Elementary School students
3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
Middle School students
6th, 7th, and 8th graders
Program Description
Students will compete standardized state tests from New York, Massachusetts, Florida, and Maryland for section One. The PARCC test will be added as a requirement for the completion of Section 2
All participants who scored Level 2 on the MCAP will be required to enroll in session 1 of the program which will enable them to review their previous state test form the former grade
Students who scored Level 3 - proficient and Level 4, distinguished will have the option of skipping Section 1 and enroll in our Geometry Program. The will rejoin the program when we commence

If your child scored Level 2 on the MCAP, they will be required to comleted their previous years
Expectation
Each student is expected to complete their Math Assessment Workbook by Sunday of each week. Upon completion the student must drop their workbook off for marking at one of our meeting locations. The corrected workbook will be returned the following week.
